As a result of the October 2012 spin-off of Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. (SHO), there are no reciprocal discount privileges between SHC and SHO associates and/or retirees. The Sears Holdings Associate Discount policy was updated to reflect the applicable changes effective October 11, 2012, and programming is now in place to support the policy. This means that you may not use your associate discount card in any of the former Sears Hardware, Hometown or Outlet stores.
Retiree discount questions including eligibility should be directed to the Retiree Service Center (1-800-762-7327).

Sears Holdings family of companies (SHC) associates and retirees are eligible for a discount on merchandise and services when purchases are made with cash, check, Sears gift card, Kmart gift card, SHO gift card, Kmart and Halogen Prepaid cards, Sears credit card1 or other in-house credit, EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer "LINK" cards), or other approved mode of payment. The associate discount is also allowed when PIN debit cards are used at most registers within stores. eBillme can be used for most .com purchases, however some restrictions apply. Specific forms and methods of payment are identified on the .com sites.

1Effective April 16, 2014, 3rd party (non-Sears) credit cards will be accepted at Kmart and only.
